Earnings Report Week 1
As I’ve seen on several other blogs, I will be doing a weekly posting discussing my earnings for the week. I think it’s not only helpful to show everyone what I use for income sources, but also challenges me to do better every week in order to make myself look good. Here are the past week’s earnings:
Google Adsense - $0.02
Kontera - $0.00
Yahoo Publisher Network - $17.40

Total: $17.42
Right now Adsense is only running on this website and one of my others. I’ve been using YPN a lot more than Adsense for right now, just because of relatively high CPC rates that YPN is currently giving.
Kontera I haven’t been impressed with so far, but then again I haven’t really tried it on a lot of sites yet. If things don’t shape up, I might be dropping it.
That’s it! Hopefully I can improve on these numbers for next week.

I have a full Kontera review a few days after months end ( one full month of testing ). But as for my preliminary results, I think it is extremely heavily dependent on the topic of your site. Think Chitika - fantastic on product sites, not so much on others.

Erik, do these stats include all three of ErikKarey.com, FunnyWeirdNews, and JustPressPlay?

Yes, I’ve been switch JustPressPlay’s ads from network to network to see how monetization could improve and I’m sticking with YPN for the time being. I’m still in the process of improving the daily totals for JustPressPlay.
I don’t expect either of the other two to contribute too much yet as they are in their infancy.
