Earnings Report Week 3

I’ve been super busy offline doing a lot of different things over the past 2 weeks and have been unable to keep up with my blog. However, I’m back in the game and here with my next earnings report.

Google Adsense - $1.43
Yahoo Publisher Network - $26.00
Contests - $50.00

Grand Total: $112.33

One of the major influences in the past week’s earnings was my contest earnings. I won $50 from Zac Johnson for posting a review of his blog. Thanks to Zac for running a great contest.

I also decided to drop Kontera from my blog as well as another site. I just wasn’t getting any earnings from it and it seemed to be more of an inconvenience to users rather then a legitimate advertising option.

Also I started to tweak the YPN categories for my site and managed to create a bit more revenue. This week I have done the same and I am interested to see next week’s earnings report. That is one thing I’ve learned about YPN; never be complacent with your ad categories. If revenue starts to drop play with them and change things up.

I’m looking to increase my weekly total next week as well as introduce a few new streams of revenue. Stay tuned.
