I didn't really have any goals for June but I did my taxes for 2006!

Thats a big achievment in itself! Got one thing out of the way and a $4,500 refund so I'm up for the month!

@chemist - I'm not too concerned with making money directly from this blog right now, so increasing readership is my main goal.

@Shaun - Thanks for the comment, I've also subscribed to your blog.

@Matt - I'm not specifically trying to increase revenue on this blog, however on other sites, I'm hoping to have the time to try out some new ad networks and different placements. I know I can do better on a few of my sites, it's just a matter of tweaking placement and ad type.

I meant to ask in my first post, are there any specific steps you're looking to take to increase ad revenue other than increasing readership and starting new projects? i.e. are there ways you're trying to improve current advertising be it ad sources, positioning/sizing, relevancy, etc?

Wow that was fast! Thank you for your answer.

I was thinking in terms of that if you are trying to make a living from your blog, say by having Adsense or other ads, then if all of your users read it via RSS you are not going to make a cent.

I see a lot of blogs that serve the entire content and even comments via RSS, there is almost not reason for people to use their browser to visit the site.

On the other hand, I've seen contextual ads in some of rss feeds I read.
