Sponsored Posts and PayPerPost

When I first entered the blogging world back in April I had high expectations of using services like Review Me and PayPerPost (aff). I saw a number of bloggers using the services and earning $100’s per month. I immediately signed up for both Review Me and PayPerPost, but realized that they both required the blog be established before being accepted. Well the day has finally come and I’ve been accepted into PayPerPost and can begin accepting opportunities.

But the question has arisen; do I want to accept the opportunities? By accepting the higher pay opportunities I can make some extra money per month, but does it compromise my blog’s integrity? The short of it is that it can, but it doesn’t have to. By selecting only related opportunities and only selecting 1-3 per month, you can eliminate the distraction to the readers while making extra money.

Speaking of which this is my first sponsored post thru PayPerPost (aff). If you don’t already know PayPerPost is a blog advertising service which allows people to pay you for writing reviews of their own sites or products. And if you sign up now they offer you a cool twenty dollars to write an introduction to the service and to invite others to the service. Will PayPerPost dramatically increase my monthly earnings? Probably not because I value my readers and want to preserve the quality of my blog. But it will be nice to have a small increase in monthly earnings, provided the proper opportunities present themselves.

I would suggest everyone at least sign up and give it a try. Just remember to respect your readers and don’t sell out for a few quick dollars.

Everywhere consists of sponsored articles and natural articles… Just need to separate them accordingly like what you have done, shouldn’t be a problem.

Not a whole lot of opportunities out there worth going for so I don’t plan on doing too much through them, but it’s nice to have the options.

I think the key, as you mentioned, is to only go for the topics that are truly relevant to your readers.

I also overlooked the term that states that you need to be established (like you, I registered within the first few weeks of my blog’s launch). But I’m not sure whether to register again when my blog qualifies.

My first impression was that none of the money making topics were relevant to my site, and that the truly good topics required PR’s beyond what I can attest to right now.

Anyhoo, let us know how it all goes - I think we’re all wondering the same things here.

I want to sign up for PayPerPost soon, but I’m also paranoid that people will think I’m “selling out” or biased. But I think you’re right that if you just do a few posts a month, and only pick topics that really fit in with your blog, that it should be fine.

I got rejected from payperpost because my blog is to new. I have made a bit out of sponsoredreviews.com though.
